Art Museum Ottobeuren open from 16 May 2020 on
Nicht kategorisiertThe popular exhibition “The Art is You: Fascinating ‘Hands-on’ Illusions from China” is open again from the 16 May 2020 on.
Visitors can enjoy the ‘hands-on’ paintings again – provided that the safety regulations are maintained, such as keeping distance and wearing a face mask.
The duration of the exhibition has been extended to the 25 October 2020.

Early Closure of the Exhibition at Albrechtsburg Meißen

The Art Museum displays a large collection of contemporary art by Diether Kunerth in the magnificent premises of its fascinating building. We are glad to show the 3D exhibitions with popular themes in the museum. Various large-scale exhibits such as a 3D black light room, Chinese illusion painting, a crooked room or the Ames room invite you to join in. With VR goggles you dive into the world of roller coasters or jump from a skyscraper. And the lovers of AR (Augmented Reality) really get their money’s worth: 40 moving images by the Mexican artist Yunuen Esparza show what art can do in an iPhone or smartphone.
